The Smith (American)

have heard good review about this restaurant, always crowded for brunch/lunch/dinner. a sister restaurant of another brunch spot Jane in Soho. finally got a chance to check it out on a random sunday night w friend.
while i was waiting, the bar was packed with young ppl drinking beers, wines and snacks on wide  selection of bar food. even for a none beer drinker as i am, all got tempted to order a cup to try...
here were what we ordered
  • Tuna tartar and side dish brussels sprouts for appetizer
  • mussel (came with fries) and chicken salad which has green apple, walnut and baby arugula for entree
  • finally, an amazing sweet to death apple pie sunday for dessert (i was totally in the zone to enjoy my meals and forgot to take food pictures...> < )
the food seems quite consistently good, would definitely go back any day soon...

btw, they have daily specials, worth the bucks.
